Children are only allowed to play in the age group designated by the League. In accordance with USSF rules, we do not allow children to play up or down a division.
For your child's first season with WSSL, you will need to provide proof of age to the League so we can ensure that your child is placed in the proper age division and that your child and all of our players are covered by insurance when they play. We are only able to accept a copy or photo of a birth certificate or passport. We are not able to accept other forms of proof of age.
To upload your child's proof of age:
1) log into your WSSL in-league account, and
2) click the button next to your child's name to upload the proof of age.
If you are registering in-person, you will need to bring proof of age with you.
WSSL will not place your child on a team until proper documentation is received and checked. All proof of age must be received by September 1 for the Fall Season and by March 15 for the Spring Season. WSSL reserves the right to give your child's spot to another fully registered and documented player if your information is not received in a timely manner.
We do not accept registrations of college players and if you are registering for high school divisions you must be able to demonstrate you are in a valid high school program.
Any attempt to provide WSSL with false birthdate information, will result in your family's expulsion from the League.
